Caitlin Tote Mama's Pocketbook

I just love this Spring-y Happy Fabric Ensemble
Caitlin Tote & Accessories Set
is a One of A Kind Original Design!
Includes 2 fabric card cases/organizers & a coordinated tissue cover with printed tissues

ENTIRE SET:
Caitlin Tote, 2 Card Cases & Tissue Cover with Printed Tissues
Now Sale Priced at $48.00 for the set

What beautiful fresh Spring colors!
This is a one-of-a-kind tote set with accessories!
I've fashioned my basic tote pattern from a gorgeous print called Caitlin Blooms by Alexander Henry and coordinated the outer pocket and interior lining with Amy Butler's retired Okra Eyelashes from her Belle collection. The tiny ruffle and fabric flower are created from another retired Amy Butler Belle fabric called Chrysanthemum in Okra. These fabrics are no longer available commercially, so you will definitely have a OOAK set!

The outer shell features a large lined slip pocket with a cute little ruffle, fabric rose and a perfect vintage dragonfly pin!
Not only is it gorgeous on the outside, inside it is also lined with Amy Butler's Okra Eyelashes fabric and there two slip pockets on one side that are perfect for cell phones, cameras, iPods or other small electrical devices and a large pocket on the other side that will hold your Kindle, iPad, Nook or other larger devices. There's plenty of room to spare inside for all your other essentials as well! And the included card cases/organizers and tissue cover all help keep this tote organized and ready to serve you as a great day bag or shopper!

All pockets are fully lined and corners are securely V-stitched, of course… nothing is ever flimsy about my bags!

Measurements:
12" drop padded and channel quilted shoulder strap from shoulder to top of bag.
11.5” tall and 14” wide, this bag wears comfortably and securely against your body. Perfect for shopping, antiquing, treasure hunting, and all manner of outings!

Introducing My Newest Design "Claire"

I always love trying something new and this adorable wristlet clutch bag has turned out to be one of my favorite products to make! It's fun and looks great in all kinds of fabrics. I will be making quite an array of these I'm sure.

The "Claire" Wristlet is a great bag for date night, church, weekend events, parties, Easter, or anytime you want to carry a smaller bag.

On my prototypes I didn't include an inside pocket, but I've decided that adding a small interior pocket for necessary credit cards and your drivers license is all that's needed to make this the perfect essentials bag.

This bag is made from a gorgeous cut velvet tapestry in rich colors of chocolate, sage, dark gold and tan that I call "Fauna". The lining is a perfectly matched silk and cheneille textured horizontal stripe. The clutch features handmade piping, a magnetic closure and a sturdy wrist loop handle that can be tucked inside if you prefer to carry it clutch style.

The Fauna version is offered as a limited edition of 25 and each bag will be adorned with a vintage button, bead or brooch to give it a One-Of-A-Kind distinction. Click the image or title to be taken to my website for more details and ordering information.

Let's Make or Buy Handmade for the Holidays!

In my recent dives into blogland I found this great site called BuyHandMade.org and I quickly joined in with my Pledge to Buy Handmade this season and to request that others do too! So here I am, encouraging all to buy or make handmade goodies to give this year during the holidays.

I love the new wave of interest in all things hand made, all the the Indie sites are amazing and so inspiring, Etsy is huge now and much more fun to shop than ebay. (and much more affordable both for shopping or selling!) Lots of my Pink Sisters now have Etsy shops, just take a look at my "hearts" list and you'll find their shops.

Lisa at The Domestic Diva's Disaster's blog was so kind to include my free "Pink October" tote pattern in her post on Monday in support of Sew Mama Sew's November event called Handmade Holidays.

You must visit this event on Sew Mama Sew's blog and see all the great ideas being posted all throughout November for handmade gifts. You could also win a gift certificate to the Sew Mama Sew online shop in one of their great drawings too!

And, the best place of all to shop handmade though of course, is MakeMinePink.com! The Little Pink Boutiques and Little Pink Plaza shops are beginning to fill up with the most gorgeous selections of Christmas and Holiday decor and gift items you've ever seen! Here's some sneak peaks...

From My Dear Friend Karen at Sweet Neccesi-Teas

And look at these beautiful heirloom stockings
from the very talented Carol at Clutter Bug Studio

Oh My!! Have you ever seen anything as adorable

as these Glittery Mittens from Ronda at Cherry Blossom Cottage?

I will post more of my Pink friends Christmas goodies throughout the month, so please visit their sites and shop handmade this year!

XOXO
